In today’s episode, we will give you the breakdown of everything you need to spend on JAMB Form.

Remember, JAMB form is not yet out. It will be out in January.

This is what the form will cost:

<<>> JAMB Form without Mock Exam – N7,200

<<>> JAMB Form with Mock Exam – N8,700.

So what is mock exam? _It is an optional exam you take if you want to know what the real JAMB exam will be like. It is not compulsory. It is only for tests purposes._

You will NOT use the result for admission. The exam is just to test your level of JAMB exam and have a real feel of what the main exam will be.

*So if you will be writing the exam, the JAMB form for you will be N8,700 if not, just budget N7,200.

_Here’s the breakdown for the form:_

• UTME/DE JAMB APPLICATION FEE: N3,500
  READING TEXT: N1,000
  CBT CENTRE REGISTRATION SERVICE CHARGE: N700
  CBT CENTRE UTME SERVICE CHARGE: N1,500
  CBT MOCK SERVICE CHARGE: N 1,500
  BANK CHARGES: N500

💡PRO TIP: You shouldn’t pay anything at your JAMB CBT CENTER. Their charges will be given to them by JAMB.

More Tips to Budget and Prepare

-Save early: Since you know the ballpark (₦7,000-₦9,000 for UTME, ~₦6,000 for DE) you can start setting aside a little monthly.
– Skip Mock if necessary: If you’re confident in your readiness, skipping the Mock exam saves ~₦1,500.
– Compare CBT centres: Though the centre fee is official (~₦700), some may add extras. Choose a centre you trust.
– Prepare your documentation: Have your NIN, valid phone number, passport photo, O’Level results ready to avoid delays.
– Avoid “agents” who demand much higher fees: Some will try to sell the form for inflated prices. Insist on the official breakdown.
– Watch for official announcements: JAMB may adjust fees, deadlines or modalities.

What Happens After You Pay?

– You’ll get an e-PIN / form code, which is used at the CBT centre to register.
– At the centre you’ll provide your bio-data, upload passport photo, fingerprint, choose your institution(s) & course(s) through JAMB’s CAPS system.
– After the exam you’ll use CAPS & JAMB portal to track admission status, etc.

In summary*: If you’re planning to buy the 2026 JAMB Form, expect to pay at least ₦7,000 for a UTME registration (without mock) and slightly more if you include the mock exam. For Direct Entry it’s about ₦5,700. These amounts are the official cost as announced.
