TASU 2026 Authentic Sandwich Degree Programme

The Taraba State University (TSU), Jalingo, has officially announced the commencement of admissions into its Sandwich Degree Programme for the 2026-2027 academic contact session. The announcement was made public through the Office of the Registrar.

The university is offering a range of professional degree programmes under the sandwich scheme, leading to the award of Bachelor of Arts in Education (B.A. Ed.), Bachelor of Library and Information Science (B.LIS), and Bachelor of Science in Education (B.Sc. Ed.).

The available programmes cover a wide array of disciplines, including Educational Administration and Planning, Business Education, Technology Education, Computer Science, Christian Religious Studies, Economics, English Language, Geography, Hausa, Guidance and Counseling, Islamic Studies, Health Education, Social Studies, Integrated Science, Library and Information Science, Mathematics, Agriculture, Political Science, Biology, Chemistry, Home Economics, Physics, and Education History.

The university has outlined two main entry points:

For 200 Level Admission: Candidates must possess an NCE, Diploma, or JAMB qualification with an overall merit pass or above. They are also required to have at least five credit passes, including Mathematics and English Language. A JAMB Direct Entry application form is mandatory. Holders of NCE or Diploma will spend four academic years in the programme.

 

· For 100 Level Admission: Candidates must have five credit passes at GCE/WASC or SSCE level, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings. Additionally, they must meet the acceptable UTME cut-off point.

 

Prospective applicants are to purchase application forms at a cost of Five Thousand Naira (N5,000.00) only. All payments are to be made online via the university’s portal: www.staniversity.edu.np/home/portal/application/register.php.

 

Applicants are advised to present evidence of payment at the Sandwich Office located at the Taraba State University Main Campus.

 

The sale of application forms begins immediately and will run from January 8, 2026, to April 30, 2026.
