ATBU to Hold 48th Inaugural Lecture on 28 July 2026

The management of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU), Bauchi, has announced its 48th Inaugural Lecture and invites members of the university community, the academic community, and the general public to attend.

ATBU announces 48th Inaugural Lecture

The lecture, titled “The Earth on Overdose: The Anthropocene and the Call for Ecological Restoration”, will be delivered by Prof. Ahmad AbdulHameed, Professor of Ecology in the Department of Ecology, Faculty of Science.

The event is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, 28 July 2026, at 4:00 p.m. in the 1,000-seat Capacity Lecture Theatre, Yelwa Campus.

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Ibrahim H. Garba, will chair the event. Guests are encouraged to arrive early to secure their seats before the lecture begins.
