IBBUL SUG notice on Faculty and Departmental FYB week activities

The Students’ Union Government (SUG) of Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University (IBBU), Lapai, wishes to inform all Faculty and Departmental Associations that the approved period for the conduct of their FYB Week activities is from Monday, 3 August 2026, to Saturday, 8 August 2026.

All concerned associations are hereby advised to ensure that their activities are conducted strictly within the approved period.

Furthermore, all students are informed that the University Cultural Carnival will be held immediately after the conclusion of the FYB Week activities. The Cultural Carnival will serve as the final major student event for the session.

Consequently, no student-related activities, social events, or programmes will be permitted after the Cultural Carnival. All Faculty, Departmental, Tribal, Ethnic, and other student associations are therefore advised to plan and conclude their activities accordingly.

The Students’ Union Government appreciates the cooperation and understanding of all students and associations as it works to ensure an orderly and successful conclusion of student activities for the session.
