Following numerous appeals and concerns raised by Faculty and Departmental Association leaders regarding the previously scheduled dates for FYB Week activities, the Students’ Union Government (SUG) engaged the University Management and formally requested an extension.
IBBUL SUG Extends Freshers’ Week Activities
We are pleased to announce that the University Management has approved this request.
Accordingly, all Faculty and Departmental Associations are to hold their FYB Week activities between Monday, 17 August and Friday, 21 August 2026.
All concerned associations are advised to make adequate preparations and ensure that their activities are conducted peacefully, responsibly, and in full compliance with the University’s rules and regulations.
The Students’ Union Government appreciates the University Management for its understanding and support. We also reaffirm our commitment to representing and promoting the interests of all students.
