Venite University Begins Recruitment of Security Assistants

Venite University Management Limited, Iloro-Ekiti, Ekiti State, has invited applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Security Assistant as part of its efforts to strengthen security and safety across the university campus.

According to the university’s official recruitment notice, successful applicants will play a key role in maintaining a safe and secure learning environment by supporting campus security operations, enforcing security procedures, safeguarding university property, and ensuring the safety of students, staff and visitors.

Interested candidates must possess a minimum of the Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) or its equivalent. Applicants are also expected to have experience working in an academic environment, be physically fit, not be more than 45 years of age, and demonstrate integrity, alertness and a strong sense of responsibility.

Applications should be submitted through the university’s official careers portal. Candidates are required to upload a single PDF document containing a formal application letter addressed to the Registrar, a detailed curriculum vitae (CV), scanned copies of relevant credentials, a recent passport photograph, and the contact details of two referees.

The university stated that the remuneration package is competitive and in line with industry standards. The application deadline is Friday, 14 August 2026, and only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
