According to the university, the extended application period will run from August 1 to August 14, 2026. Candidates who have not yet purchased or completed their application forms are advised to take advantage of the extension, which the university described as the final opportunity for eligible applicants.

AAU stated that only candidates who selected the university as their first-choice institution are eligible to apply through the official admissions portal. The application fee is ₦5,000, payable online.

The university also reminded applicants that there will be no Post-UTME screening exercise, as admissions will be based solely on candidates’ UTME scores. Applicants are required to register using their full names, as initials will not be accepted.

Prospective candidates have also been advised to regularly check the university’s admissions portal for updates and ensure that their O’Level or Direct Entry results are uploaded to the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) to facilitate the admissions process.

The university emphasized that there may be no further extension beyond August 14, 2026, and urged all interested candidates to complete their applications within the stipulated period.
