FUNAAB Reappoints Prof. Jayeola Olabisi as COLENDS Dean
The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) has announced the reappointment of Professor Jayeola Olabisi of the Department of Accounting as Dean of the College of Entrepreneurial and Development Studies (COLENDS).
The appointment was approved by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Babatunde Kehinde, following a recommendation from the COLENDS College Board.
According to a reappointment letter signed by the University’s Registrar, Dr. Titus Adeniyi, Professor Olabisi will serve a second three-year term from August 1, 2026, to July 31, 2029.
The University said the reappointment reflects its confidence in Professor Olabisi’s leadership and recognizes his contributions to the growth and development of both COLENDS and FUNAAB.
FUNAAB expressed confidence that his continued leadership will further strengthen the College’s commitment to academic excellence, innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainable development. The University added that his tenure is expected to advance its mission of producing globally competitive graduates and impactful research.
University Management congratulated Professor Olabisi on his reappointment and wished him a successful and productive tenure.
