WAEC SSCE May/June 2026 Results Released
The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has officially released the results of the 2026 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for school candidates.
According to the Head of the Nigeria National Office, Dr. Amos Dangut, 1,834,695 out of 1,950,726 candidates who sat for the examination in Nigeria representing 94.05% have had their results fully processed and released.
He added that 116,031 candidates (5.95%) still have one or more subjects being processed, assuring them that the outstanding results will be released within the next few days.
Speaking on candidates’ performance, Dr. Dangut revealed that 1,687,378 candidates (86.50%) earned credit passes in at least five subjects, with or without English Language and Mathematics. Additionally, 1,200,514 candidates (61.54%) obtained credit passes in five subjects, including both English Language and Mathematics.
The results were released a few days after WAEC postponed the originally scheduled release date due to operational reasons.
Candidates are advised to obtain their result-checking PINs from https://waec.org and check their results only through WAEC’s official result portal at https://www.waecdirect.org/.

How to Check Your 2026 WASSCE Results
- Visit https://www.waecdirect.org/.
- Enter your Examination Number.
- Select 2026 as the Examination Year.
- Select School Candidates as the Examination Type.
- Enter your PIN and Serial Number.
- Click Submit to view your results.
