The Management of the University of Delta (UNIDEL), Agbor, has approved a one-week extension for the certificate verification and screening exercise for eligible students.
UNIDEL extends certificate screening by one week.
The approval was conveyed in a letter dated August 3, 2026, and addressed to the Chairman of the Certificate Verification/Screening Committee.
According to the letter, the Management considered the committee’s report at its meeting held on 31 July 2026 regarding 300-level students admitted during the 2023/2024 academic session.
Following its deliberations, the Management granted the committee a one-week extension to complete the certificate verification and screening exercise.
The extension is intended to enable the committee to conduct a one-week mop-up screening exercise during the first quarter of the first semester of the 2026/2027 academic session.
The mop-up exercise is designed for students who still have unresolved issues related to their certificate verification and screening.
The University Management directed the relevant authorities to take note of the approval and act accordingly.
