FUTA Announces Closure of 2026/2027 Post-UTME Registration Portal
This is to inform all prospective candidates who chose the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) as their First Choice Institution that the online registration for the 2026/2027 Post-UTME Screening Exercise for admission into all courses and programmes, which was earlier extended until 31 July 2026, will now close on Thursday, 13 August 2026.
All eligible candidates who scored a minimum of 180 in the 2026 UTME conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), as well as Direct Entry (DE) candidates who chose FUTA as their First Choice Institution and are yet to complete their screening registration, are advised to do so on or before Thursday, 13 August 2026 by visiting the University’s website.
Candidates are urged to take advantage of the remaining period and complete their registration promptly. Please note that any candidate who is not screened will not be considered for admission into the University.
Candidates are also reminded that, to be considered for admission for the 2026/2027 academic session, they must be at least 16 years old by 30 September 2026.
Furthermore, all candidates must ensure that their O’Level results are uploaded to JAMB CAPS on or before Thursday, 13 August 2026. Failure to do so will render the affected candidates ineligible for admission.
