The Federal Polytechnic Kaura Namoda, Zamfara State, has officially commenced its admission exercise for the 2026/2027 academic session.

The Polytechnic is inviting suitably qualified prospective candidates seeking admission into its National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes to apply.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

National Diploma (ND) Programmes

Candidates must possess five (5) O’Level credits in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics where applicable.

Candidates must also have scored at least 100 marks in the 2026 Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examination and must have chosen Federal Polytechnic Kaura Namoda as their first-choice institution.

Higher National Diploma (HND) Programmes

Candidates must:

• Possess an accredited National Diploma (ND) in the relevant field from a recognised institution.
• Have completed a minimum of one (1) year of Industrial Training (IT) after obtaining their National Diploma.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

Interested candidates are required to:

1. Visit the Polytechnic’s application portal: http://portal.fedponam.edu.ng/
2. Generate a Remita payment invoice.
3. Pay an application fee of Five Thousand Naira (₦5,000.00) per form, excluding bank charges.
4. Complete the online application form.

Alternatively, hard copies of the application form can be obtained from the Academic Affairs Unit, Shehu Shagari Administrative Block, Main Campus, Kaura Namoda Town.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

All National Diploma admissions are strictly processed through the Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS), as approved by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
