City watch essay competition for Akwa Ibom Students

In celebration of its second anniversary, the Girls in Future Awards (GIFA) has announced an essay writing competition for students from Akwa Ibom State. The competition seeks to engage young minds and promote academic excellence among the state’s indigenous students.

Eligibility

Participation is open to students who meet the following criteria:

• Indigenous to Akwa Ibom State
• Currently enrolled in recognized tertiary institutions
• Residing within Akwa Ibom State

GIFA Registration Details

Registration Deadline

All entries must be submitted on or before February 10, 2026.
