The Management of the Federal University Birnin Kebbi (FUBK) wishes to inform all prospective (fresh) and returning students of the approved schedule for the registration exercise for the 2025/2026 Academic Session
1. Registration Period
Registration for both fresh and returning students will commence on Monday, 5th January, 2026, and end on Wednesday, 21st February, 2026.
2. Late Registration Penalty
Students are strongly advised to complete their registration within the stipulated period. Penalties for late registration are as follows:
₦5,000.00 (Five Thousand Naira) for registration completed within one (1) week after the deadline.
₦10,000.00 (Ten Thousand Naira) for registration completed within two (2) weeks after the deadline.
Please note that registration will NOT be allowed after two (2) weeks from the stipulated deadline. Any student who fails to register within the extended period shall be deemed to have forfeited their studentship for the session and will be required to defer the session through the appropriate channels and procedures.
3. Mode of Registration
Registration will be conducted online via the University’s student portal:
Detailed guidelines and step-by-step procedures for the registration process will be made available on the portal from Monday, 30th December, 2025.
4. Required Documentation
Fresh Students are required to present:
Original and photocopies of all academic credentials
Admission letter
Birth certificate
Other documents as specified in the admission package
Returning Students are required to present:
Valid student identity card
Evidence of fee payment for the 2025/2026 Academic Session
