FUDutse Vice Chancellor appoints New Directors

The Vice-Chancellor of Federal University Dutse (FUD), Prof. Ahmad Muhammed Gumel, has approved the appointment of new Directors, Acting Directors, and a Deputy Director in the institution

This was announced in the university’s Official Weekly Newsletter (Volume 3, No. 58) dated February 19, 2026.

According to the publication, the appointments are part of efforts to strengthen administrative efficiency and enhance service delivery across key directorates of the university.

The newly appointed officials include:

Dr. Salim Ahmad – Director, Academic Planning & Quality Assurance

Prof. Salihu Ibrahim Ismail – Director, Research & Development

Dr. Sadiq Ismaila Shina – Director of Sports

Mal. Nura Danbatta – Pioneer Director, Directorate of Academic Affairs

Mal. Usman Bala Bello – Pioneer Director, Internal Audit

Dr. Ahmed Aliyu – Director, Centre for Social & Economic Research

Mal. Usman Ibn Musa – Acting Director, Directorate of Budget

Mal. Mohammed Sule Ringim – Acting Director, Treasury

Dr. Ya’u Katanga – Deputy Director, Business, Centre for Entrepreneurial Development

The appointments are expected to further advance the university’s academic planning, research development, financial management, and overall institutional growth.
