JAMB Opens Home Verification and Upload of O’Level Results for Candidates
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has introduced a new process that allows candidates to verify and upload their O’Level results without visiting a ComputerBased Test (CBT) center.
Under the new arrangement, JAMB will verify candidates’ O’Level results directly with the examination bodies that conducted the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE), starting with the West African Examinations Council (WAEC).

As a result, candidates can now complete the O’Level result upload process from the comfort of their homes, while JAMB handles the verification of the results with the relevant examination bodies.
According to the Board, the initiative is aimed at making its services faster, safer, easier, and more convenient for candidates. The use of technology will also reduce the need for candidates to visit CBT centers, wait in long queues, or rely on manual processes.

The new system is also designed to eliminate some of the problems associated with manual O’Level result uploads, such as misplaced documents, incorrect subject or grade entries, and the submission of unverified or fraudulent results.
Through the integration of JAMB’s eFacility platform with participating examination bodies, candidates’ results can be checked against the official records of the examination bodies before being uploaded to their JAMB profiles.
How to Verify and Upload Your O’Level Result
First Stage: Verify Your O’Level Result
- Visit: buyresultsverificationcode.ng
- Enter your NIN and click “Verify NIN.”
- Select the number of sittings you want to verify and choose the relevant examination body or bodies, then click “Continue.”
- Provide your email address and GSM number and click “Pay Now.”
- Complete the payment using your debit card or bank transfer.
- After payment is successful, enter your examination details:
- Examination number
- Examination series
- Examination year
- Verify the result(s) for the selected number of sittings and obtain your Verification Code.

Second Stage: Upload Your O’Level Result
- Send “VERIFY” followed by your Verification Code to 55019 or 66019.
- Your verified result will be uploaded, and you will receive a confirmation notification.
- Candidates with two sittings will be instructed to access their results through their eFacility profile.
- Log in to your eFacility dashboard and select “2026 UTME O’Level Upload.”
- Enter your Verification Code. Your two verified results will then be displayed.
- Select the required subjects from the displayed results. Candidates must:
- Select at least 5 subjects.
- Select no more than 9 subjects.
- Ensure that no subject is selected more than once.
- Click “Apply the O’Level Results.”
- Once the upload is completed successfully, you will receive a notification confirming the submission.
JAMB said the new verification system will provide candidates with a more convenient option, particularly during periods when CBT centers experience high demand or network difficulties.
The initiative is part of the Board’s broader effort under its sixth Registrar, Prof. Segun Aina, to provide a more candidate-focused and technology-driven service.
JAMB said it will continue to adopt technology and work with relevant examination and government agencies to make its services more accessible, secure, and convenient for candidates.
