The Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH) has commenced the sale of application forms for admission into its Pre-Degree Programme for the 2026/2027 academic session.

The programme is open to qualified candidates seeking admission into Arts, Engineering, Science, and Social Science disciplines. It is designed to prepare students for the 2027 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and enhance their chances of gaining admission into the University’s 100-level degree programmes.

Eligibility requirements

Applicants are expected to possess at least five O’Level credit passes in not more than two sittings, including English Language.

– Science applicants must have credits in Mathematics and three relevant science subjects.
– Social Science applicants must have credits in Mathematics and three relevant social science subjects.
– Arts applicants must have credits in four relevant Arts subjects.

Candidates awaiting O’Level results are also eligible to apply.

Applicants with at least three credit passes in relevant subjects may also apply, provided they make up all outstanding required credits before completing the programme.

Eligible candidates will be invited for a written qualifying examination.

The Pre-Degree programme runs for nine months, from October to July, and is divided into two semesters. To secure admission into LASUSTECH’s 100-level degree programmes, candidates must sit for the 2027 UTME, attain the University’s minimum acceptable score, and meet all other admission requirements.

How to apply

Interested candidates should visit https://predegree.lasustech.edu.ng to complete the online application. Applicants are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of ₦15,000 and submit the completed application form together with the required documents, including their O’Level result, birth certificate, and National Identification Number (NIN), to the Pre-Degree Programme Office, LASUSTECH, Ikorodu.

Candidates are advised to regularly check the application portal for the application deadline and other updates.
