ABU Gives 2026 Post-UTME/DE Registration Update

The management of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, has issued an update to all prospective candidates for the 2026/2027 academic session regarding the ongoing Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) screening registration.

Further to the Special Bulletin, Volume 18, No. 53, dated Saturday, 4 July 2026, the University has asked candidates to note the following:

• The challenges experienced during the registration process were caused by the ongoing upgrade of the University’s internet infrastructure, which is now nearing completion.
• Candidates who have not yet completed their registration, particularly those unable to make payment or upload their O’ Level results, are advised to proceed and complete the process.
• Registration for Direct Entry (DE) candidates will begin as soon as the University receives their data from the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
• Candidates awaiting their O’ Level results should wait until the results are released before commencing their registration.
