The National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) has announced the successful conclusion of the 2026 Selection and Placement Exercise into Federal Technical Colleges (FTCs), conducted in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Education (FME) and the Principals of Federal Technical Colleges.

According to the Board, the exercise followed the successful conduct and release of the results of the 2026 National Common Entrance Examination (NCEE), which was held on Saturday, 13 June 2026.
NABTEB stated that the selection and placement process was carried out in accordance with the approved admission guidelines to ensure a transparent, fair and merit-based allocation of qualified candidates into Federal Technical Colleges across Nigeria.
Candidates who sat for the 2026 National Common Entrance Examination can now check their admission status by visiting the NABTEB website at https://nabteb.gov.ng, selecting the Media Centre on the menu bar, and clicking on FTC Admission Status.
Alternatively, candidates may confirm their admission status at any NABTEB office across the 36 states, the six geopolitical zones, or at the NABTEB National Headquarters in Benin City, Edo State.
Successful candidates are advised to visit https://eworld.nabteb.gov.ng from Friday, 24 July 2026, to print their Notification of Admission Slip. They should then present the slip at the Federal Technical College where they have been offered admission to collect their admission letters and complete all registration formalities within the stipulated period.
