University of Ibadan Opens Direct Entry Registration Portal for 2026/2027
The University of Ibadan has announced that its Direct Entry admission portal for the 2026/2027 academic session will be open for registration from Monday, August 3, 2026, to Sunday, August 16, 2026.
Prospective candidates are advised that the registration period will not be extended beyond August 3 _16, 2026.
Payment Instructions for Direct Entry Candidates
Candidates should log in to the admission portal using their JAMB Registration Number (e.g., 202612345678EG) as their username and their surname as the default password (e.g., Oyesanmi, Chibuzor, Umar).
Applicants are required to pay:
- ₦2,000 screening fee
- ₦3,000 portal access fee
Payments should be made through the Admission Portal in favor of the University of Ibadan.
Available payment options include:
- Card Payment – Credit or debit card (ATM card)
- Bank Transfer – Direct transfer from your bank account using your preferred banking channel
Candidates are advised to print their payment success receipt after completing the transaction.
Applicants must also provide valid and active email addresses and phone numbers, as the University will not be responsible for missed communications resulting from invalid email addresses or inactive phone numbers.
General Information
Candidates applying for programs in the College of Medicine and Faculty of Pharmacy must possess five (5) O’Level credits in relevant subjects obtained in one sitting.
For all other programs, candidates presenting two O’Level results must have at least six (6) credits in relevant subjects.
The University of Ibadan does not accept IJMB or JUPEP for Direct Entry admission. Accepted qualifications include WAEC, NECO, Cambridge Advanced Level, NCE, OND, HND, and Degree certificates obtained from recognized institutions.

In addition, all Direct Entry candidates are required to submit their credentials via email to ugadmissions@stu.ui.edu.ng.
