MAPOLY 2nd Semester Registration Deadline Update (2025/26)
The Academic Board has drawn the attention of students to a false statement currently circulating, claiming that 7 August 2026 is the deadline for registration for the Second Semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Session.
The Board wishes to state categorically that this information is false and did not originate from the Academic Board. Students are therefore advised to disregard the notice.
At its meeting held on Monday, 3 August 2026, the Academic Board considered and rejected a proposal to introduce a registration deadline and a penalty for late registration.
However, the Board has directed all students to complete their registration without further delay in preparation for the Second Semester Examinations, which are scheduled to commence on Monday, 17 August 2026.
The Chairman of the Academic Board and Rector, Arc. Dr. Koye Jolaoso has warned those responsible for circulating false information to desist immediately in the interest of peace, order, and progress at the Polytechnic.
The Rector also urged all students to complete their registration promptly to ensure they remain eligible to sit the Second Semester Examinations.
