BSU SUG Update on NELFUND Refund
The Students’ Union wishes to inform all students that, following an official meeting between the Students’ Union Secretary-General and the Director of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), clarification has been provided regarding the NELFUND refund process.
According to the Director of ICT, the NELFUND refund is strictly available to students who personally paid their First and Second Semester school fees and have successfully submitted a refund application through the institution’s student portal.
Accordingly, all eligible students who paid their First and Second Semester school fees and wish to receive a refund are advised to log in to the school portal and complete the refund application process as soon as possible.
Please note that refunds will only be processed for students who meet the stated eligibility requirements. Once an application has been successfully verified, the approved refund will be deposited directly into the student’s designated personal bank account.
The Students’ Union therefore encourages all eligible students to ensure that their refund applications are properly submitted through the school portal and that the bank account information provided is accurate to facilitate timely processing and payment.
The Students’ Union remains committed to providing students with timely, accurate, and verified information on matters affecting their welfare.
We encourage all eligible students to remain patient and ensure that all required information has been submitted correctly to avoid delays in the refund process.
