ABU Sets Date for Matriculation Ceremony of New Postgraduate Students

Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, has announced the date and venue for the matriculation ceremony for newly admitted postgraduate students for the 2025/2026 academic session.

According to a special bulletin issued by the University, the ceremony will take place on Wednesday, 23 September 2026, at 9:00 a.m.

The event will be held at the Postgraduate College Auditorium, Ahmadu Bello University Main Campus, Samaru, Zaria.

The University stated that the ceremony marks the students’ formal admission into the University and gives them an opportunity to embrace its values, responsibilities and expectations. The Matriculation Oath will also be administered during the ceremony.

Attendance is compulsory for all newly admitted postgraduate students. Students are expected to attend in full academic regalia and observe all instructions and appropriate conduct throughout the event.

The bulletin further directed students to collect their academic gowns and Matriculation Oath Forms from Room B9, Postgraduate College, after paying the required ₦3,000 fee at the College Cash Office.

The Postgraduate College welcomed the newly admitted students and wished them success in their respective programmes.
