DOU Admission List for the 2026/2027 Academic Session

Dennis Osadebay University (DOU), Asaba, Delta State, has announced that candidates offered admission for the 2026/2027 academic session should log in to the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) to check their admission status and accept their offers.

The university disclosed this in a notice issued on 17 September 2026, advising newly admitted candidates to complete the acceptance process within the stipulated deadlines.

How to Check Your Admission Status

Candidates can check their admission status by following these steps:

1. Visit the JAMB e-Facility portal and log in with their registered email address and password.
2. Select ‘Check Admission Status’.
3. Click on ‘Access my CAPS’.
4. Select ‘Admission Status’ to confirm whether an admission offer has been made.

Important Deadlines for Newly Admitted Candidates

According to the university, candidates must accept their admission offers on JAMB CAPS within two weeks from the date the offer was made. Failure to do so may lead to the forfeiture of the admission offer.

After accepting the offer on JAMB CAPS, candidates are required to pay the prescribed acceptance fee and applicable sundry charges within one week of accepting the admission.

DOU management has advised successful candidates to complete all required admission procedures within the specified timeframes and not wait until the deadline.

The university also cautioned candidates, parents and guardians to be wary of fraudsters. All acceptance fees and other payments should be made only through the university’s approved payment channels.

Candidates requiring further information or clarification are advised to contact the DOU Admission Office or visit the university’s official admission portal.

Important: Candidates who fail to accept their admission offers on JAMB CAPS within two weeks of the offer date may lose their admission.
