ABSU 2026/2027 Admission List Now Available on JAMB CAPS
Abia State University (ABSU) has released its admission list for the 2026/2027 academic session.
Candidates who participated in the university’s 2026/2027 admission screening exercise can now check their admission status to confirm whether they have been offered provisional admission.
ABSU 2026/2027 Admission List Now Available on JAMB CAPS
The list of successful candidates has been uploaded through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).
Candidates can follow the steps below to check their admission status:
- Visit https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/ and log in using the email address and password registered with your JAMB profile.
- From your dashboard, click on “Check Admission Status.”
- Select “Access my CAPS.”
- Click on “Admission Status” to view your admission offer.
If you have been offered admission, your admission status will be displayed along with your photograph and a congratulatory message confirming the offer.
Candidates who have not yet been offered admission may see the message: “Sorry No Admission has Been Given Yet.”
How to Accept or Reject Your Admission
Candidates who receive an admission offer are required to accept or reject it. This can be done by sending ACCEPT or REJECT via SMS to 55019 or 66019, using the phone number linked to your JAMB profile.
Candidates have four weeks to accept their admission offer.
Those who no longer have access to the phone number registered with JAMB are advised to visit a JAMB-accredited centre to complete the acceptance or rejection process.
Print Your Admission Letter
Candidates who accept their admission are advised to print their JAMB admission letter. The document may be required during the clearance and registration process at Abia State University.
Important Note for Candidates Using Phones
Candidates checking their admission status on a mobile phone may not see the complete CAPS options. In some cases, only the welcome message may be displayed.
If this happens, candidates should use Google Chrome and enable Desktop Site to access the full CAPS page.
To do this, open Chrome, click on the three-dot menu, and select “Desktop site.” Then refresh the page and follow the steps above.
Candidates are advised to carefully follow the instructions and regularly check their JAMB CAPS profile for updates regarding their admission.
