BSU Announces Commencement of Second Semester Lectures for the 2025/2026 Academic Session

The University Management has directed all Deans and Heads of Departments to ensure that lectures for the second semester commence as scheduled on Monday, 10 August 2026. The directive is aimed at promoting the timely commencement of academic activities and addressing the delays that have characterised the start of lectures in previous semesters.
Deans and Heads of Departments are further requested to strengthen monitoring and supervision within their faculties and departments to ensure that lectures begin promptly and are conducted according to the approved timetable.
Academic staff are advised to engage fully with students who resume as scheduled and deliver lectures irrespective of class size, treating each class as though it were at full attendance.
