BUK College of Health Sci’ announces harmonized Induction Ceremony

The Human Resources Development Centre (HRDC), in collaboration with the Department of Human Kinetics and Health Education, Faculty of Education, University of Lagos (UNILAG), invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into its two-year part-time Diploma in Human Kinetics and Health Education programme.

BUK College of Health Sci’ announces harmonized Induction Ceremony

The programme is designed particularly for active sportsmen and sportswomen and leads to the award of a Diploma in Human Kinetics and Health Education.

Entry Requirements

Applicants are required to possess either of the following:

Five (5) credits in WASSCE, NECO or GCE O’Level at one sitting. The credits must include Mathematics, English Language, Biology and any other Science subject.

A Coaching Grade III Certificate or Diploma obtained from the National Institute of Sports (NIS).

Programme Duration and Fees

Duration: Two (2) academic sessions

Tuition Fee: ₦100,000 per session

Course Materials: ₦10,000

Qualifying Examination and Interview

Date: Tuesday, 17th November 2026

Time: 9:00 a.m.

Venue: Sports Centre, University of Lagos

Lecture Commences: Monday, 30th November 2026

How to Apply

Step 1: Complete the Pre-Application Form

Applicants should visit the HRDC portal:

https://hrdc.unilag.edu.ng

Select “Application Type” → “HRDC Diploma Programme” and complete the pre-application form with the required details, including surname, first name, middle name, email address and mobile number.

Upon successful completion, a Payment Reference Number will be generated. Applicants should print the payment reference for the next stage.

Step 2: Pay the Application Fee

Applicants should take the printed payment reference to any of the designated HRDC application-fee collection banks:

Ecobank

Access Bank

First Bank

Wema Bank

Payment can also be made on the University campus.

Application Fee: ₦20,000.00

Step 3: Complete the Application Form

After payment has been confirmed, applicants should return to the payment portal, select the application form link and log in using their Payment Reference Number and surname in lower case as the password.

Applicants should select Diploma in Human Kinetics and Health Education, then choose “Application Type” and click “Continue Application” to proceed.

Important Information

Only applicants whose payments have been confirmed by the bank will be granted access to the application form.

Applicants experiencing payment-related difficulties should return to the bank where payment was made and request that the payment be posted.

A payment notification will be sent to applicants once their payment has been successfully processed.

Applicants should ensure that their surname is entered correctly during the pre-application stage, as the surname in lower case will be used as the password.

After completing the application form, applicants are required to print copies and submit them to the HRDC and the Department of Human Kinetics and Health Education (HKHE).

All required documents must be submitted on or before Monday, 22nd February 2027.

Original application printout and one photocopy

Two (2) photocopies of the Birth Certificate

Two (2) photocopies of the application-fee teller

Two (2) photocopies of relevant credentials
