Fidei Polytechnic Gboko announces resumption of academic activities
The Management of Fidei Polytechnic, Gboko, wishes to inform all staff, students, parents, stakeholders and members of the general public that, following an emergency meeting of Management held on Friday, 7 August 2026, it has resolved that the Polytechnic will reopen for academic activities on Monday, 10 August 2026.
The Polytechnic was closed on 14 July 2026 to enable Management to undertake necessary infrastructural renovations, repairs and fumigation of the campus and the Girls’ Hostels.
Accordingly, academic activities will resume immediately upon reopening on Monday, 10 August 2026. All staff and students are therefore directed to resume their normal academic and official duties as scheduled.
Management further wishes to inform all concerned that the Tansian University–Fidei Polytechnic Liaison Centre has also been approved to reopen for academic activities. Management is making concerted efforts and is working diligently to address and resolve all issues relating to the recent protest by students of the Centre.

Management assures all concerned of its continued commitment to the safety, welfare and academic progress of every member of the Polytechnic community.
