FUDUTSE Reaffirms Mandatory ID Card Use on Campus

It will be recalled that Management had previously introduced the use of official Identity Cards with lanyards as part of the University’s security and identification measures.

Regrettably, it has been observed that compliance with these directives have not been adhered.

In view of the foregoing, the University Management has directed with immediate effect that all staff and students must wear and visibly display their official University ldentity Card while within the University premises.

Provosts, Deans, Directors, Heads of Departments, Heads of Units and other supervisors are to ensure strict compliance with these directives. Also, Security personnel are hereby directed to request proof of identity from any person not displaying a valid University Identity Card before granting access to the University premises.

Members of staff are to pay Five Hundred Naira (NS00:00) to the Bursary Department and visit the Directorate of Human Resources Management with verified evidence of payment while Students should contact their Faculty Officers for collection of lanyards.

Failure to comply with these directives will attract disciplinary sanctions.
