FULAFIA to Hold 48th Inaugural Lecture on September 30

The Federal University of Lafia (FULAFIA) is set to host its 48th Inaugural Lecture on Wednesday, 30 September 2026, with Professor Thomas Anomoaphe Alemoh of the Department of Mass Communication, Faculty of Social Sciences, as the guest lecturer.

Professor Alemoh, a distinguished scholar of mass communication, will deliver the lecture titled “Media in the Quest for National Development in Nigeria: Catalyst or Caterpillar?”

The event will begin at 2:00 p.m. at the Adamu Adamu Office and Lecture Complex, Permanent Site Campus, Lafia.

Members of the university community, stakeholders and the general public are cordially invited to attend the academic event.

Those unable to attend physically can participate virtually, as the lecture will be streamed live via Google Meet at https://meet.google.com/wuq-zahr-mkn and on the university’s official Facebook page, FULafia – Bulletin.
