FUOYE Debunks Rumour on 2026/2027 Admission Exercise

The Management of the Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) has dismissed reports circulating within the University community claiming that the institution has handed over, or plans to hand over, its 2026/2027 admission exercise to an external consultant.

In a clarification, the University described the information as false, urging members of the University community to disregard the rumour.

Management stated that the 2026/2027 admission exercise remains under the supervision of the University Admissions Committee, which is duly constituted to coordinate and oversee the institution’s admission process.

The Committee will continue to conduct the admission exercise in line with the University’s approved policies, regulations and established procedures.

The University therefore advised students, prospective candidates and other members of the community to rely only on information released through FUOYE’s official communication channels.

The institution urged the public to disregard any contrary information from unauthorised sources.
