The Deanery of Student Affairs has directed the immediate cancellation of all Final Year Brethren (FYB) activities, celebrations and associated gatherings across all faculties and departments until further notice.

The decision follows reports of security concerns, excessive rallies and conduct that violates university regulations and disrupts academic activities.

To ensure strict compliance with the directive:

• University security personnel, in collaboration with external law enforcement agencies, have been deployed across all campuses, hostels and surrounding areas.
• Security teams will patrol the premises to prevent unauthorised gatherings and motorcades.
• Any student or group found organising, participating in or facilitating FYB-related activities will face immediate disciplinary action.

All final-year students are advised to complete their academic requirements peacefully and vacate the premises responsibly after their final examinations.

Students are urged to fully comply with the directive to maintain order, peace and safety across the university community.
