LASU Begins Online Clearance for New Students, 2026/2027 Session

Admitted candidates to Lagos State University (LASU) for the 2026/2027 academic session are required to participate in the online admission clearance exercise through the LASU Central Admissions Clearance Application (LACACA).
Successful candidates who complete the LACACA process will be assigned matriculation numbers, while candidates who fail to complete the process successfully will be deemed to have forfeited their provisional admission.
The LACACA process, managed by LASU Consult Limited, requires all admitted candidates to pay the prescribed clearance fee through the LASU e-payment portal. Candidates must also have paid their acceptance and medical fees, in addition to the clearance fee, before beginning the online clearance process.
LACACA Clearance Fee Payment
- Visit . LASU Website: https://www.lasu.edu.ng
- Enter your JAMB Registration Number in the field labelled “Matriculation Number/Application Number”.
- Enter a valid email address and phone number.
- Click Continue.
LACACA Clearance Procedure
- Visit the LASU Website: https://www.lasu.edu.ng
- Select Student and click on UG LACACA.
- Enter your UTME Registration Number and surname, then click Submit.
- Complete the following on the dashboard:
- Validate your basic biodata.
- Verify your disability status.
- Upload your O’Level scratch card details.
- Upload your original birth certificate.
- Upload your original UTME result.
- Upload your original JAMB Admission Letter.
- Upload a scanned signature.
- Check the “I Agree” box and click Submit.
After submission, the admission clearance will progress to 20%, while the uploaded documents are reviewed by designated University officials.
Candidates are advised to regularly check their clearance status, as further action may be required based on the documents submitted.
Candidates whose applications contain errors requiring correction will be required to pay the applicable LACACA correction fee through the LASU payment portal.
Once the clearance reaches 100%, successful candidates will be able to print their LASU Admission Clearance Certificate for the 2026/2027 academic session and receive their matriculation numbers.
Clearance Deadline
The online clearance exercise will run for three weeks, from Wednesday, 12 August 2026, to Wednesday, 2 September 2026.
Rejected candidates should check their portals for the reason for rejection. Where necessary, candidates may visit the Admissions Office, 3rd Floor, Senate Building, Main Campus, Ojo, for further guidance.
