Kofoworola Makinde, a graduate of Lagos State University (LASU), has celebrated an impressive academic achievement after completing her Law degree with a Second-Class Upper Division and a 4.49 CGPA.

Makinde shared the news on X on August 20, 2026, proudly announcing the results of her years of hard work at the university. She graduated with an LL.B. (Hons.) degree and finished with an outstanding 4.49 CGPA.
In addition to earning a Second-Class Upper, Makinde received two major honors from the Faculty of Law. She was named the Best Female Graduating Student in the Faculty of Law for the Class of 2025 and also emerged as the Second-Best Graduating Student overall in the faculty.

The achievement placed her among the top-performing students in her graduating class and attracted significant attention online. Her celebratory post, in which she introduced herself through her academic accomplishments and expressed gratitude to God, quickly gained traction, recording more than 127,000 views.

Meanwhile, another LASU graduate, Ifeoluwa Olusanya, recently graduated with a 4.90/5.00 CGPA in Fisheries and Aquatic Biology. Olusanya was also recognized as the Best Graduating Student in the Faculty of Science and received two faculty awards.
