LASU SUG Clarifies Convocation Rental Package
Following our earlier publication, we have noticed some misconceptions regarding the Convocation Rental Packages and the Land Use Charge.
To clarify, all graduating students who wish to purchase any convocation rental package must first pay the ₦10,000 Land Use Charge through the approved payment channels before approaching their respective faculties for any rental package.
LASU SUG Clarifies Convocation Rental Packages
Accordingly, all faculties are directed to ensure that graduating students comply with this requirement before processing payments for any convocation package.
In line with IGBEGA LASUSU’s commitment to student welfare, the Convocation Rental Packages have been reviewed and standardized to ensure affordability and convenience for all graduating students. The LASUSU Central Convocation Committee (LCCC) has approved the following uniform rates, which will apply across all faculties:
- Regular Package: ₦22,000
- Premium (VIP) Package: ₦35,000
- Platinum (VVIP) Package: ₦45,000
Graduating students with further questions or complaints regarding the convocation packages are advised to contact their Faculty President or the Faculty Liaison Officer recognized by the LCCC.
Important Notice
Graduating students are strongly advised not to make payments to any unauthorized individual, faculty representative, or departmental representative. Any payments previously made to unauthorized persons should be refunded immediately.
