The Students’ Representative Council (SRC) of Sa’adu Zungur University (SAZU), through its Students’ NELFUND Committee, has called on students whose 2025/2026 NELFUND portal status shows “Disbursed” but who have not yet received their institutional fee refunds to submit their details for verification.

The announcement was contained in an official notice dated 28 July 2026, signed by the Chairman of the Students’ NELFUND Committee, Abdulkadir Muhammad Duguri.
According to the notice, the verification exercise is aimed at identifying affected beneficiaries and enabling the committee to liaise with the relevant authorities to ensure that the outstanding refunds are processed.
Affected students are required to provide the following information:
– Full name
– Matriculation number
– Department
– Account details
– A screenshot of the NELFUND portal showing the “Disbursed” status
Students have been directed to submit the required information via WhatsApp to 0816 697 3274 for verification and further follow-up.
The committee also urged all eligible beneficiaries to respond promptly to avoid unnecessary delays in resolving their refund issues.
The notice reflects the SRC’s continued commitment to supporting students benefiting from the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) and ensuring that those who are yet to receive their institutional fee refunds are assisted as quickly as possible.
