The LONG Empowerment Foundation is committed to nurturing the next generation of Nigerian leaders. As part of this mission, the Young Achievers Scholarship provides long-term financial support to students enrolled in private secondary schools across Nigeria.

The scholarship is renewable for up to six academic years, ensuring continuous support throughout both junior and senior secondary education.

Scholarship Benefits

Successful applicants will receive a comprehensive package of financial and developmental support, including:

  • Financial Support: Up to ₦240,000 per academic year to cover tuition and other school-related fees. The scholarship is renewable, subject to satisfactory academic performance and continued eligibility.
  • Examination Sponsorship: Full sponsorship for key external examinations, including the Junior Secondary School Certificate Examination (JSCE), West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE/WAEC), and the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examination.
  • Professional Development: Access to mentorship and career development opportunities to help scholars achieve their academic and professional goals.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the 2026 LONG Young Achievers Scholarship, applicants must:

  1. Be between 10 and 17 years of age at the time of application.
  2. Be currently enrolled in a private junior or senior secondary school in Nigeria.
  3. Come from a household with a total annual income below ₦1,500,000.
  4. Have the application completed and submitted by a parent, legal guardian, or older sibling.

Required Documents

Applicants must provide the following:

  • A completed online application form.
  • Proof of current school enrolment.
  • Recent academic records or school reports.
  • Evidence of financial need.

The application process is entirely online. Applicants should:
