UDUS Begins Certificate Verification for Finalists and Graduates

Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (UDUS) has announced a Certificate and Testimonial Verification Exercise for students from the 2022–2026 academic sessions.
According to a circular signed by the Chairman of the Certificate/Testimonial Verification Committee, verification for the 2025/2026 graduating students will run from August 24 to September 7, 2026. Verification for students from the 2022–2025 sessions is already underway.
All finalists are required to appear before the verification officer assigned to their course and present the original copies of the following documents:
- UTME result
- JAMB admission letter
- WAEC/NECO/TC/NABTEB certificate or duly signed examination broadsheet
Diploma or NCE certificate/transcript (for Direct Entry students)
Confirmation letter
Local government indigene certificate
Fourteen committee members have been assigned across various faculties and departments to oversee the exercise, with their contact details provided for students’ guidance.
The university stated that the exercise is aimed at authenticating students’ academic records ahead of graduation and certificate issuance.
Finalists are advised to complete the verification within the stipulated period to avoid delays in their graduation clearance.
