The Management of Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (UDUS) hereby formally notifies the general public, particularly all candidates who chose UDUS as their first choice for the 2026/2027 academic session, that the admission process has officially commenced.

Following this development, the University would like to bring to the attention of all prospective applicants to a mandatory requirement for successful consideration. It has been observed that some candidates are yet to upload their O’Level results (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, etc.) to the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) portal.
Critical Directive to All Applicants
1. Mandatory O’Level Upload: All applicants who are yet to upload their O’Level results are required to do so as a matter of urgency.
2. Admission Condition: Candidates are hereby informed that no admission can be processed or offered without an uploaded and verified record of at least five (5) relevant O’Level credit passes in line with the requirements of their chosen programme.
3. Consequences of Non-Compliance: Failure to upload O’Level results to the JAMB CAPS portal may result in a candidate being excluded from consideration for the 2026/2027 admission exercise, as well as unnecessary delays in the processing of their admission.
What Affected Candidates Must Do
– Visit any JAMB-accredited Computer-Based Test (CBT) centre.
– Upload your O’Level results immediately to your JAMB profile through the JAMB e-Facility/CAPS portal.
– Regularly log in to your JAMB CAPS dashboard to confirm that your results have been successfully uploaded and that the information is correctly reflected.
Candidates are strongly advised not to wait until the peak of the admission exercise before taking action. Prompt compliance will help ensure that their applications are processed smoothly
