UNIBEN Opens Acceptance Fee Portal for 2026/2027 Admission, Sets Deadline

UNIBEN Opens Acceptance Fee Portal for 2026/2027 Session

The University of Benin (UNIBEN) informs all candidates offered provisional admission for the 2026/2027 Academic Session that the portal for payment of the prescribed Acceptance Fee will open on Monday, 24 August 2026.

Candidates are advised to accept their admission offers on the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) as soon as possible, if they have not already done so. Acceptance on JAMB CAPS is a prerequisite for completing the subsequent admission and registration processes.

Candidates should then log on to the University’s admission portal https://portal.uniben.edu/#login to confirm their admission status and proceed with payment of the Acceptance Fee.

Deadline for Payment

The deadline for payment of the Acceptance Fee is Monday, 21 September 2026.

Candidates are strongly advised to complete payment on or before the deadline, as failure to do so may result in the withdrawal of the admission offer.

Payments should be made only through the University’s approved payment platform. Candidates should also retain their payment receipts and other relevant documents for the clearance and registration processes.

Candidates are encouraged to regularly check the University’s official communication channels for authentic information and further updates.
