2026/2027 FUTA Admission List Now Available on JAMB CAPS

The Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA), has released its admission list for the 2026/2027 academic session.

Candidates who participated in the 2026/2027 admission screening exercise can now check their admission status on the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) to find out whether they have been offered provisional admission.

How to Check FUTA Admission Status

Candidates should follow the steps below to check their admission status:

1. Visit https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/ and log in with the email address and password linked to your JAMB profile.
2. Click on ‘Check Admission Status’.
3. Select ‘Access my CAPS’.
4. Click on ‘Admission Status’ to view your admission offer.

Candidates who have been offered admission will see their photograph displayed along with a message congratulating them on their admission.

Those who have not yet received an admission offer will see the message: “Sorry, No Admission has been Given Yet.”

How to Accept or Reject FUTA Admission

Candidates who have received an admission offer can accept or reject it by sending ACCEPT or REJECT via SMS to 55019 or 66019, using the phone number linked to their JAMB profile.

Candidates have four weeks to accept their admission offer. Those who no longer have access to their registered phone number should visit a JAMB-accredited centre to complete the acceptance or rejection process.

Print Your JAMB Admission Letter

After accepting the admission offer, candidates are advised to print their JAMB admission letter, as it may be required during clearance and registration at FUTA.

Important Notice for Candidates Using Phones

Candidates accessing JAMB CAPS on a mobile phone may not see the complete admission status options. Some users may only see the welcome message.

If this happens, use Google Chrome and enable Desktop site or Request desktop site from the browser menu. This will allow the full CAPS page to display.
