The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has Proceed registration for candidates seeking admission into Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) programmes and non-technological National Diploma (ND) programmes in agriculture, following the Federal Government’s approval exempting such applicants from writing the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
JAMB starts NCE non-tech agri programme registration

JAMB’s spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, disclosed that eligible candidates with the required O’Level credits can register at any Institutional Professional Registration Centre (IPRC) in colleges of education or any JAMB Professional Registration Centre (PRC) nationwide.
He added that candidates who already sat for the 2026 UTME but have decided to switch to NCE or eligible agricultural programmes can convert their applications at any designated registration centre at no extra cost.
Benjamin said the policy is designed to widen access to teacher education and agriculture and its elated programmes while maintaining admission standards.
