The Federal Polytechnic of Oil and Gas, Bonny, has announced the commencement of physical verification and registration for prospective students from Tuesday, September 1, 2026.

All candidates admitted into the National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes are advised to come prepared with the required documents to ensure a smooth and efficient verification and registration process.

Requirements for ND Candidates

Candidates seeking admission into the National Diploma programme are required to present:

  • JAMB Admission Letter
  • JAMB Result Slip
  • Original O’Level result (WAEC, NECO, or GCE)
  • Birth Certificate
  • Local Government Area Identification Certificate
  • Attestation Letter
  • Two recent passport photographs

Requirements for HND Candidates

Candidates admitted into the Higher National Diploma programme are required to present:

  • JAMB Admission Letter
  • National Diploma (ND) Certificate
  • One-year Industrial Training (IT) completion letter
  • National Diploma (ND) Transcript
  • Original O’Level result (WAEC, NECO, or GCE)
  • Application Form
  • Birth Certificate
  • Local Government Area Identification Certificate
  • Attestation Letter
  • Two recent passport photographs
