AAU notice to final year students on certificate issuance
Senate, at its 334th Regular Meeting held on Wednesday, 29 July 2026, reaffirmed its earlier decision at the 330th Regular Meeting held on 25 June 2026 that, effective from the 2025/2026 academic session, certificates should be prepared immediately after Senate approves final-year results.
In line with this decision, all graduating students are required to pay the approved certificate fee as part of the final-year clearance process.
Approved Certificate Fee: ₦48,000.00

Students are advised to ensure that payment is made only through the University’s approved payment platform.
This notice is issued to inform all graduating students and other concerned members of the University community of the Senate’s decision and to ensure compliance.
