Accordingly, all students residing in the University Halls of Residence are required to vacate their respective halls immediately and return to their respective homes or other appropriate places of residence for the duration of the holiday.

Students are expected to:

1. make adequate arrangements to leave the University premises peacefully and orderly;

2. ensure they take along all personal belongings, as Management will not be liable for any items left behind;

3. comply with all instructions issued by Hall Management and other authorised University officials during the evacuation process; and

4. refrain from remaining within the Halls of Residence or other restricted University facilities after the commencement of the holiday.

Management recognises that this directive may cause some inconveniences to members of the student body. However, the decision has become necessary in view of the prevailing circumstances arising from the industrial action and is intended in the overall interest of the University community.

Students are therefore urged to remain calm, cooperate fully with the University authorities, and comply with this directive. Further information regarding the resumption of academic activities will be communicated to students as soon as the situation becomes clear and normal University operations can safely resume.

Management appreciates the understanding, patience and cooperation of the entire student body.

Management equally commends His Excellency, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, for his commitment to resolving the issue efficiently.
