The University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) has clarified that it has not released an official academic calendar for the 2026/2027 academic session.

The University has urged students, prospective candidates and members of the public to disregard any academic calendar currently circulating online and being attributed to the institution.

According to the University, any dates being circulated for activities such as resumption, registration, lectures, matriculation, examinations or other academic programmes for the 2026/2027 session should not be relied upon.

Students and prospective candidates are advised to exercise caution and avoid acting on unverified information, as doing so could lead to unnecessary confusion or misinformation.

The University will release the official academic calendar and provide further information through its recognised communication channels once the details are available.
