After 10 Years Prof Oloyede Hands Over as JAMB Registrar

Professor Is-haq Oloyede has officially handed over as Registrar of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), ending a decade-long tenure at the examination body.
He was succeeded by Prof. Segun Aina, who was recently appointed by President Bola Tinubu. Aina, a Professor of Computer Engineering at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, is an expert in digital infrastructure, examination systems, and institutional reform.
According to the Presidency, Aina has over 15 years of experience advising governments on digital transformation and has worked with examination bodies such as NECO and NABTEB to strengthen ICT systems and examination integrity. He also becomes the youngest Registrar in JAMB’s history.
President Tinubu expressed confidence that Aina would build on the reforms and achievements recorded under Oloyede’s leadership while further strengthening JAMB’s operations.
