The Management of Alvan Ikoku Federal University of Education (AIFUED) has expressed serious concern over the growing incidents of fraudulent activities, extortion, and unauthorized collection of school fees, charges, and levies.

This notice serves as a strict disclaimer and warning to all students and members of the public regarding the approved and lawful channels for making payments to the University.

All legitimate payments, including school fees, acceptance fees, hostel fees, and departmental dues, must be made exclusively through the payment gateways approved by the University.

Students and parents are strongly advised not to pay cash, transfer funds, or give money to any individual, student representative, lecturer, or unauthorized third party claiming to act on behalf of the University or the Bursary Department.

The University will not be responsible for any financial loss incurred by students or parents who conduct transactions through unauthorized channels or individuals.

To protect yourself from fraud, please follow these guidelines:

Official Inquiries: All inquiries, requests for clarification, and payment-related issues must be directed exclusively to the Bursary Department. Do not rely on unverified social media accounts, phone numbers, or third-party agents.

If anyone approaches you demanding cash payments or offering “fast-track” payment services outside the approved system, report them immediately to the Security Unit or Bursary Department.

Your cooperation is essential to maintaining a safe and fraud-free environment for everyone.
