Ajayi Crowther University to Hold 30th Inaugural Lecture

Ajayi Crowther University, Oyo, is set to host its 30th Inaugural Lecture, to be delivered by Prof. Ayoku Akanni Ojedokun, Professor of Library and Information Science in the Department of Library and Information Science, Faculty of Social Sciences.

Titled “From Access to Empowerment: Navigating the Digital Age,” the lecture will take place on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Crowther Hall on the University campus.

Prof. Ojedokun is expected to present a thought-provoking discourse on navigating the digital age, exploring the critical shift from simply accessing information to achieving meaningful empowerment in an increasingly digital world.

The event will be chaired by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Ebunoluwa Oduwole.
