Akwa Ibom College of Nursing Sciences Opens ND Nursing Admission for 2026/2027

The Akwa Ibom State College of Nursing Sciences (AKSCONS), Ikot Ekpene, has commenced admission into its National Diploma (ND) Nursing programme for the 2026/2027 academic session.

Online registration began on Tuesday, 1 September 2026, and will close on Friday, 2 October 2026. Applications must be completed online through the College’s official website: www.akscons.edu.ng.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must satisfy the following conditions:

• Score at least 190 in the 2026 UTME.
• Possess a minimum of five credits in WASSCE, NECO or NABTEB, including English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics, in not more than two sittings.
• WASSCE and NECO results may be combined, but NABTEB results cannot be combined.
• Be at least 16 years old by September 2026.
• Have selected AKSCONS as their first-choice institution during the 2026 JAMB registration.

Post-UTME Screening

The Post-UTME screening examination is scheduled for Saturday, 10 October 2026, at Aka Community Secondary School, Aka Offot, Uyo, starting at 7:00 a.m.

Candidates are required to bring their coloured printed acknowledgement slip to the examination venue for identification.

The College warned applicants not to give money to anyone promising to secure admission, stressing that such payments are illegal.
